We offer a bespoke catering service of the highest standard specific to our clients' individual requirements.

We can cater for any event, indoor and outdoor from weddings to informal gatherings and galas; from sit down three course meals to hog roasts and paella parties.


We are happy to offer an extensive range of locally sourced produce in a variety of menu options prepared by our talented chefs and tailored to meet your very own expectations.


We can create our very own pop up kitchen and venue for your event or we can come to your own venue and provide an excellent service with great food and friendly and professional waiting staff.

Let's take things outside

Let’s be honest, good weather on the west coast of Scotland can’t always be guaranteed, but that doesn’t mean that good food can’t be!


If you are planning any type of gathering or event outdoors and would like to offer guests or attendees a bite to eat, we have a range of options to suit.


Some of the options we offer are log fired pizzas, seafood paellas, barbeques, baked potatoes with a variety of fillings, the Isle of Skye Ice Cream tricycle, and the infamous Tartan Heart Event Hog Roast - see below for more details.

Why not go the whole hog?

The Hog Roast is a Tartan Heart Event speciality.


We can either come to your event and cook it for you or we can supply you with everything you need to do it yourself.


For informal DIY packages, we will supply you with one of our modern stainless steel hog ovens and one of our own locally sourced hogs for you to cook and carve with your guests.


We can also attend your event and professionally cook a hog roast to be served with an accompaniment of specially selected side dishes. A popular option is served with home made stuffing, apple sauce and flour baps - ideal for evening receptions or less formal gatherings.

Local and fresh produce

All of our produce is fresh and locally sourced where possible.


Due to our location, we have access to some of the finest seafood the country has to offer and are spoilt with a selection of freshly caught shellfish provided by local fishermen.


We also have access to some of the best organic meat that Scotland has to offer which is sourced from local game dealers..

Chef:The man behind the magic

Our Head Chef has more than 30 years experience within the hospitality industry.


A highly qualified and professional individual; he has gained many awards and accolades including catering for two royal families and numerous famous personalities.


He also gained a Michelin accredited “Bib Gourmand” on his travels and joined Tartan Heart Events in 2014.


His contribution has been significant with regards to the fantastic reputation we have achieved thus far.
